Bonnie attained her professional Human Resource designations through academic training, personal attributes and achievements, The Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) designation under the Ontario Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) is the highest designation recognizing high-impact leaders within the HR profession. Bonnie also holds the designation of Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) under the CEBS program recognized as a specialist working with pension plans, government sponsored plans and management of plan assets.
Bonnie brings 30+ years of Human Resources expertise from a complex unionized environment with 15 years in a senior management role. Bonnie has experience in all aspects of Human Resources and Labour Relations including grievance management, negotiations, dispute resolution, recruitment, job evaluation, compensation, group benefits, pensions, employee training and development. Bonnie also brings HR system implementation expertise and has experience in conducting functional assessments to identify efficiencies and realign the HR program, function, or system to the business strategy.
Before joining the Delfi Group in 2014, Bonnie had a distinguished Human Resources career (30+ years) in the National Office of the largest public service union in Canada, culminating in the role of Human Resources Director. She had a rich and varied professional experience being the senior HR person with a unionized employer that focused on the bargaining rights and agreements of hundreds of thousands of bargaining unit members. She has extensive employee and labour relations experience under provincial and federal jurisdictions and while leading a multi-disciplinary team she continued practicing the tools of her HR trade in job evaluation, compensation management, HRIS implementation, pay equity, pension, benefits, and staffing.
